Ion longbow barrel length? Did a search, no findy Rate Topic: -----

I just spent 30 mintues searching for some clear anwsers on what length barrel would match up with the Ion longbow mag. The reason I ask is I'm building my Ion into a longbow and want the barrel to be the same length as the mag. Anyone know what length barrel to get? I need a positive, clear anwser on this one gents.

18" for the longbow set up and 16" for the Q-bow set up

I'm like 97.5% sure that it is an 18 inch barrel for the longbow.

I'm 100% sure. The ion kit actually comes (or used to anyway)with an 18" all american. With a Qloader, you'd want a 16". I know because I own an ion longbow...

Now that we're talking about the Ion, does anyone know if the SO Ion Body is compatible with both the regular old Ion AND the new Ion XE?
My fiirst signature was removed by a crazy dude because it was way too big. I dont think it was big, it only had a regular Image. Oh well, he better not remove this one or Cartman will go to his door and kick him in the balls....

Are you talking about the Blackcell body or the Blackcell Longbow kit?

I assume that to mean the body since that really is the only Ion specific part. Everything else just connects to the body. If that be the case then no the Blackcell Ion body wont fit the Ion XE.
Since I'm one who likes definate anwsers, I cant tell you for sure if thats what that means. I would assume that were the case. I have a regular Ion so I cant say for sure.

what you could do, is if you get an ion XE, get a deadly wind(or other tactical body from a different manufacturer) that works with the XE, then a T2W stock or something. you would still be able to put the receiver on there

Also if you did it this way you would have adjustability of the stock. This is actually how I'm setting up my Ion, only with the Blackcell body. Good call SMITTY.
