Okay, before any of you tell me how dumb I am for ____ reason, or that I should do ____, please know that I want to do this for AESTHETIC purposes only. Also, I was unable to find any threads already addressing this issue (as if anyone else would be crazy enough to suggest such a thing).

Now, What I am looking for is a Barrel Back (preferably with inserts, but not necessary) threaded for an A5 that also has A5 threads at it's own front (Muzzle?). What I want to know is, first, if there are any such items already in existence, and if not, what the possibility would be of having something like that created.

Now, my reason for this inquiry: I'm planning an A5 mod for which I would like to have a 24-25 inch barrel (purely cosmetic). I plan on purchasing a J&J 20" Barrel and would like a "back" to attach it to to give me another 4-5 inches.

Finally, I do not wish to purchase the St!ffi 23" "Sniper Barrel," so please do not suggest it. I may decide to purchase it in the end, but know that I am aware of it and do not need further info on it.

Have you looked at the Python Compression Barrel System. It is an approximately 4 inch barrel back goes into a marker but can then house any barrel of the same marker on the front. i believe that is what you are looking for. It also has inserts.

Awesome! Thanks for the info, I hadn't heard of it. Where is the best place to find one of those? How much should I expect to pay for one?

I have a set and they run about 60 bucks. Its cheaper than a regular barrel kit but nearly just as effective.

Sweet. Thanks, dude. I understand about the reading/posting thing. I read on the forums for about a year before I ever really posted. Thanks again for the info! I've looked up the Python kit and plan on purchasing one as soon as I have the funds.
