Hey everyone I'm The6thKamikaze and that name is for a reason I earned the Kamikaze patch for the story I'm about to tell about my favorite game of being a dagger. Before I do though I just want to explain what the purpose of this thread is, it is simply to tell you're stories of being a dagger. Think about it like little "war stories" if you will they can be funny, about times you did something dumb, or awesome, or whatever so long as there is no bad mouthing other people's stories. Well I'll go first this is the story about how I became the 6th Kamikaze of Battlefront Paintball.

First I should probably explain how you win the award. The Kamikaze Patch is won by doing something beyond the call of duty like a paintball version of the medal of honor of sorts. You can get it for being crazy, being a bad hombre, or doing something seemingly impossible. You have to be recommended by several ref's and then approved by the majority. There have only been 8 Kamikaze's in the 3 years Battlefront's been open so it's not just handed out. Well enough of the explanation heres the story.

We just finished a part of the scenario game and there was a lunch break/rest break mid day. A couple of the ref's asked if anybody wanted to play a few games of center flag in the city and 50 people wanted to so we did 25 vs 25. The rules were each team had a flag by the flag station on the ground in the middle of the city. whoever hung there flag and kept it up on the station for 5 minutes first would win. Each team got to have 3 players start in the city before the game started, the rest of each team started at the opposite ends of the city. My friends and some of my teammates were joking around about rush hanging and I suggested that I Just run without my gun and run shirtless and hang the flag because they'd be so shocked lol. I was joking but my one friend begged me to do it because he thought it would be hilarious. The ref was listening in and wanted to follow the action so he took a photo of me doing it. So I took my shirt off left my gun with my friend and got ready to run for dear life. (I was only wearing shorts, shoes, and a mask) When the horn blew I ran for dear life I ran all the way to flag station non-stop hung the flag all the while being shot at, and then got behind cover with my team without getting hit. We held the flag station for the 5 minutes and won the game. After all these ref's and teammates came up and just told me how sick it was that I pulled it off and they gave me a kamikaze patch. So that's the way I became the 6th kamikaze.

If you don't believe me go to battlefront's website and look up latest news, then scroll down to 2nd anniversary event. It doesn't say my name but read the article. Well hope that wasn't too boring I can't wait to here you're stories.

Oh geez, where to begin...where to begin. I've pulled off several things that I never thought would happen. Myself and a friend captured a base at a big scenario game last year, we did it alone. Uhh, I pulled off a 7 v me with a pump on a walk on day. So many more, I just dont feel like typing a lot haha.

My brother did something like that once. He uses a phantom vsc (vertical stock class) with a T-Stock, ghost ring, and modded rubber detent. It was 5 vs him and he got all but 1 before finally getting bunkered. He hit the guy who bunkered him but it bounced.

lol I thought this would boom with replies then I found my answer. The Sniper section is the only one absolutely loaded, I mean you gotta figure 99% of those guys are wannabe's and the 1% that actually know what they are talking about probably get flamed. My bro may not be in that 1% but he's got everyone at our field's respect. I just hate the fact that everyone's a sniper nowadays. After all aren't the snipers supposed to be the few and the capable not just every other average joe?

I just think its easier to say. Really it's just a stealthy accurate player but as long as new players are gonna splurge on stuff that won't even help them get better the name sniper will be in paintball for better or worse. I think it's kinda cool callin my bro our sniper tho it makes scenario games a little more fun. He just goes around in all black with his black vsc phantom and gog's everyone lol.

'Sniping' is more of a tactic then a position. You can do it with any gear, I believe anyone can be 90% effective at 'sniping' with bright colored clothes and a basic gun. More importantly it is only useful some of the times. If you are always trying to 'snipe' you are a waste of a body at least 50% of your play time.

MOUT games though, been to three. That poo is crazy. I may get around to typing some stuff out later.

My last of 3 was at Blanding, revenge of the nerds (This past summer). The other two were at McClellan in Alabama. Were you at that last game however?

No, I missed that one. I went to the Battle of Iron Forge in 07 and Spec Ops v Smart Parts in 07.

During a game, it was 15 on 15. The field was an old sand pit. There was a fair amount of coverage on the field (trees, rocks, small hills, shrubs and bushes) surrounded by woods. Myself and one other player decided to hit the woods and proceeded to circumvent the entire field. We entered into an area where there were several mounds of dirt, all over 10 feet in height. Using them, we reaquired the OPFOR and moved in directly behind them. Taking up positions, we set up a cross fire, allowing us to do maximum damage in a ver short amount of time.

I'm not sure if this counts, but this fells reckless enough to count as a dagger moment.

I was visiting Hogback Mountain PB Park. Me, my cousin, my brother, and some other guy were trapped downhill and were taking fire from uphill. No one was moving, and it was near the end of the game. I needed something to break the ice when I felt a lump in my pocket...

...My Tippmann Big Boy...

I pulled the wrapper and I charged uphill with my comrades giving me cover fire. Letting loose my kamikaze yell, I rushed headlong toward my opponents, and I was met with a wall of paint. I was able to let the grenade go off, but I'm not sure if anyone got eliminated due to this.

Alot of people were talking about this highlight of the game. :P I was met with congratulations and "dude that was hilarious and awesome at the same time!"'s. :(

Just the other day I was playing a 5vs6 string of matches one of them was a 'bomb the church' match, me and a mate bolted forward and hid in a ditch about half way between the church and the bomb start point. Two others followed but not as fast and my bro stayed behind at the church cos his A5 was chopping balls like no tomorrow, so he went around the back of the church and took some logs to barricade the one and only entrance, it was worth it.
As the enemy team moved forward as fast as they could to gain ground, me and my friend ducked down and attempted to let them pass, while the other two that followed made a fighting retreat. As we heard the gunshots fade into the distance, we figured they had past us. My mate stuck his head out and scanned the area, only two problems was the fact he had a blue hopper (blue team) on his gun cos it was the sites gun, the other was that My friend on the other team had arrived on the pitch late and spotted him. As he raised his A5 to shoot my squadie, I heard the rapid discharge of a marker outta juice.
We got off lucky he forgot to refill his tank from the previous match and he was out. So me and my mate sprung our trap he ran to the closest enemy position while I ran in search for the bomber. I spotted him just outside and around the corner of the church. I ran past three of the enemy pelting paint at him, My mate followed to the left taking out the guys trying to flank the church. I shot about 4 balls at the bomber (who I noticed was ginger?!?!?(dunno why I noticed that...)) then I started chopping, so I almost ripped my 4" barrel off my A5 and pulled a squeegey through it while still running (thank god for my hunting sling!) reattached the barrel and made a single man pincer movement around the church and flanked the bomber who was backing off from where I was originally coming from, in total I think I put about seven balls into him out of about twenty (remains of my ammo)(I think that's okay at a sprint). So with the bomber down we won!

There was also another match that isn't as good, but basically I popped a smoke right at the base of the flag when I was pinned down mere meters from the flag, my friends who were just a bit back from me were yelling at me that there was only a minute left and it wasn't worth the £4 smoke grenade. I thought BOINK it, poped the smoke and ran for it, according to the guys who were in the bunker directly behind the flag they were shooting at and around where they thought the flag was, but I didn't feel anything or see any paint hit anywhere around me, so I legged it back to base and won our match, with about 10-15 seconds to spare (not quite the hollywood one second job).
