My first thought when i got the box: There cant be anything in it because its so light! but i open it to find the stock staring at me. There are 3 giant o ring things in the pack SAVE THOSE! youll need them because when you put it on your a5, it might fit loosely and move around so play around with thoes and get the right fit. after i was done my gun looked cool. i shouldered it and it felt like i have used it before. it is about 1 inch in width at the butt plate but its the best stock ive ever used ever! yes the cutout is sweet because i have a vforce mask and a reddot and i dont have to use the rail anymore! I dont think it will break at the hinges(problem with other stocks) because there metal. overall i love it!!

yeah, i've had this stock for my A-5 for a year or so now, and i've been nothing but pleased with it. the cutout in the stock is a HUGE benefit. it allows for a great sight picture down your barrel/sight, and makes for the beginnings of an awesome distance marker.

Just to throw this out there for Flex 8 owners:

The Tippmann A-5 Commando Stock WILL NOT allow you to see your sight without a rail while wearing JT Flex 8 goggles.

i got my commando stock and the mp5 foregrip and love it. It feels great against your shoulder and the foregrip is a great upgrade from the vertical grip. i srongly recommend getting it!

You will also still need the riser with a proteuse mask. But i LOVE this stock it put the marker in the right place every time i pull it up.
